Do I need planning permission?

All Uniq Pods buildings are designed and built to fall under your permitted development rights.

Can I use my Garden Room as a living accommodation?

To use a Garden Room as a living accommodation the building must comply with building regulations and go through a planning process.

Can I have a shower & toilet in my Garden Room?

Shower rooms and toilets can be added to your garden room upon request.

Can I have a Skylight in my Garden Room?

Yes we can add a skylight into our builds.

Do your Garden Rooms come with a guarantee?

All Uniq Pods garden rooms come with a 10 year structural guarantee.

 

Certified Electrical installation certificate and a 1 year installation guarantee.

 

All products and electrical appliances used in the garden room will come with their own guarantee which will be down to the homeowner to apply.

Can I have Partition Walls/extra interior products in my Garden Room?

Partition walls can be added on request to our garden rooms for extra rooms, or storage rooms with hidden exterior doors.

 

Feature walls, bars, cabinets can be added and carried out by the team.

How long does a Garden Room take to build?

We aim to construct our Garden Rooms in a 2-3 week timescale, depending on the size. 

How well insulated are your Garden Rooms?

All Uniq Pods Garden Rooms are designed to be used all year round. With a fully insulated roof, walls and base this will ensure your garden room will be cosy in the winter months.

What comes as standard with the Garden Room?

Our Garden Rooms structures are all built to the same high standard to ensure no quality of build is lost during the construction process. 

 

As standard they include: LED Downlights, Consumer Unit, 4 White Plastic Double Sockets, 1 Wall mounted smart ceramic heater.
